Track Review: Walkin By Denzel Curry

     Denzel Curry is back with a new single off of his fifth studio album,  Melt My Eyez, See Your Future. The rumors regarding any information leading up to this track, "Walkin," were almost non-existent so there was a lot mystery and speculation around what direction Curry would take on this forthcoming project. "Walkin" shows that Denzel Curry continues to evolve his music, attempting to push the boundaries with what he is capable of and does so with rigorous passion and spirit. The track sees Denzel reminisce on the struggles of life, describing his ordeal as "I'm killing off my demons cause my souls worth redeeming." The production through the first half is light and has an airy, spacious funk about it thanks to rich percussion, quirky little piano chords and gorgeous use of female backing vocals.
